Social Media Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote - USA; must be based in the United States and able to work across U.S. time zones.

What you will do

• Own the social media strategy, brand voice, and content calendar across LinkedIn, X, and other relevant channels.
• Write, design with support, and publish product updates, thought leadership, event recaps, memes, and employee- or founder-led content.
• Grow community engagement by responding to comments and direct messages and building relationships with practitioners, researchers, and influencers.
• Partner with Product Marketing and Field Marketing on launches, campaigns, webinars, events, and conference content.
• Run executive and employee advocacy programs, including ghostwriting for founders and subject-matter experts.
• Track channel performance, coordinate rapid-response content, manage external content resources, and recommend new platform investments.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of social media management experience at a B2B SaaS, technology, or security company.
• Excellent writing skills across short-form posts, threads, video scripts, and captions.
• Strong understanding of LinkedIn and X for technical and security-focused audiences.
• Experience with social analytics and scheduling tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer, or native platform analytics.
• Experience collaborating with executives and engineers on ghostwritten content, plus basic design skills or familiarity with Canva or Figma.
• Must be based in the United States, work across U.S. time zones, and manage an independent, fast-moving content schedule.

• Established presence in the cybersecurity community.
• Paid social, short-form video, or employee advocacy experience.
• Experience at an early-stage startup or as a solo social media function.
• Familiarity with social app optimization and organic growth.
