Senior AI Product Manager

Location: Palo Alto, United States — hybrid; onsite in Palo Alto 3 days per week. Remote work is available within the United States.

Salary: $170,000–$200,000 annually, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the roadmap for data, analytics, evaluation, and governance products within the Platform pod.
• Define serving contracts, semantic layers, gold-layer marts, source mappings, schemas, granularity, and data delivery cadence.
• Turn customer-specific data pipelines and clinical product builds into reusable products with clear interfaces and generalization requirements.
• Own KPI intake, prioritization, vetting, metrics catalogs, analytics products, and cost observability for model and workflow usage.
• Define reusable AI evaluation gates covering validation, population-scale generalization, and post-go-live monitoring.
• Establish ownership contracts and hand-offs across data platform, analytics, AI engineering, application engineering, and platform engineering while addressing HIPAA, privacy, and clinical safety constraints.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 6+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years owning data, analytics, or platform products.
• Technical fluency with data pipelines, medallion architectures, semantic layers, APIs, schemas, and SQL.
• Experience governing metrics, building analytics products, and working with AI/ML evaluation, testing, or production monitoring.
• Experience with enterprise data integration and shipping products in regulated environments such as healthcare or finance.
• Able to work onsite in Palo Alto 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with EHR data, including Epic Clarity/Caboodle, HL7, or FHIR.
• Understanding of healthcare operations, health system IT environments, clinical data models, or AI governance frameworks such as NIST AI RMF and ISO 42001.
