Senior Test Automation Engineer (Python)

What you will do

• Build and maintain a Pytest-based test framework and automated Python tests.
• Design high-value tests based on product behavior and customer use cases.
• Establish and enhance Hardware-in-the-Loop testing with Inertial Navigation System hardware.
• Configure and improve GitLab CI pipelines, including runner reliability and efficiency.
• Triage test failures, maintain green test results, and monitor requirements traceability and code coverage.
• Communicate test outcomes and progress to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in hardware and software testing, automated testing, and continuous integration.
• Strong Python programming skills, including test framework and script development.
• C/C++ proficiency and experience with Git and GitLab CI.
• Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop testing, automated test equipment, and hardware integration.
• Experience with Inertial Navigation Systems or related GNSS and sensor technologies; FPGA testing knowledge, such as cocotb, is required.
