Autonomous Vehicle Test Manager (Automotive)

What you will do

• Lead test strategies, procedures, validation plans, and release criteria for vehicle control systems across the operational domain.
• Manage and mentor test engineers responsible for vehicle systems validation and test automation.
• Maintain traceability between system requirements, test cases, and validation results throughout the development lifecycle.
• Oversee field-issue triage, cross-functional debugging, root-cause analysis, and hardware/software integration validation.
• Drive automated testing frameworks, modular test scripts, data analysis, and CI testing pipelines.
• Scale bench, HiL, ViL, and vehicle-level testing infrastructure while validating controllers, sensors, actuators, and software updates for safety and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience testing autonomous vehicles, robotics, or automotive systems.
• 2+ years of leadership or technical lead experience managing testing efforts or teams.
• Experience with CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, ROS or similar robotics frameworks, and validation traceability tools such as Jama, Confluence, or JIRA.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++ and experience designing test infrastructure across bench, HiL, ViL, and vehicle environments.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, debugging workflows, system integration validation, containers, CPU/GPU architectures, and numerical computing libraries.
