Senior Software Engineer, Front-End (CX Apps)

Location: US Remote - California. Candidates within a 1-hour commuting distance of the office may be expected to work onsite most of the time. Remote roles may include an onsite interview during the final hiring stages.

Salary: $140,971-$228,870 annually, with actual compensation based on location, job level, experience, and skills. Additional bonuses, commissions, or other compensation may apply.

What you will do

• Drive front-end application development across the full software development lifecycle, from concept through production release.
• Build customer-facing experiences using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Svelte, and Next.js.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs across front-end and back-end systems in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and partner teams.
• Troubleshoot data, integration, service, and user-interface issues across a large distributed codebase.
• Develop unit and integration tests and contribute to technical documentation.
• Use AI tooling, preferably Claude, to support software design, architecture, and implementation while maintaining engineering judgment and code quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building consumer-facing web applications.
• 4+ years of experience and strong proficiency with React and Next.js.
• Fluency in TypeScript and JavaScript, plus familiarity with Tailwind CSS.
• Knowledge of security, testing, documentation, and monitoring best practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Must be legally able to work in the United States; hirify.global uses E-Verify.

Nice to have

• Experience with Svelte.
• Comfort using AI tooling, preferably Claude, in day-to-day engineering work.
