M&A Integration Lead, Corporate Development (Aerospace)

Base pay: $188,000–$235,100 per year

What you will do

• Lead integration planning and execution for acquisitions from diligence through post-close and steady-state operations.
• Run the Integration Management Office and coordinate executive teams, functional leads, and acquired-company leadership.
• Maintain the master integration plan, manage dependencies and risks, escalate blockers, and drive timely decisions.
• Identify and capture synergies and value-creation opportunities across engineering, people, finance, legal, and other functions.
• Build trust between organizations by bridging cultural and operational differences.
• Develop a repeatable M&A integration playbook and use AI tools to automate diligence synthesis, reporting, and tracker maintenance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in M&A integration, corporate development, management consulting, or program/portfolio management.
• Direct experience leading integration efforts for at least one significant acquisition.
• Experience running structured, cross-functional programs with ownership of timelines, risks, reporting, and executive communication.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity, communicate clearly with executive and steering committee audiences, and maintain strong organizational discipline.
• Comfort applying AI tools creatively to improve efficiency and output.
• Experience integrating an acquired company into a public or late-stage private company.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-growth technology, aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing.
• Experience managing carve-out transactions, including Transition Services Agreement execution and exit.
• PMP, Six Sigma, or equivalent program management credential.
