Director, M&A Integration Manager

Location: Hybrid in Lincolnshire, Illinois — 3 days in the office and 2 days remote; 25% domestic and international travel

Salary: $177,920–$266,880 annual base pay; target annual cash incentive equal to 25% of base pay

What you will do

• Identify integration issues during acquisition diligence and develop comprehensive integration plans.
• Co-own integration success with business leaders from deal inception through completion.
• Define integration decisions, strategies, roadmaps, and value drivers in partnership with business integration leadership.
• Coordinate cross-functional integration teams, interdependencies, resources, and day-one activities.
• Develop reusable M&A integration best practices and institutionalize the integration process.
• Lead post-mortem evaluations, acquisition performance tracking, and reporting to senior management and the Board of Directors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• 15 years of relevant experience; candidates with 7+ years of M&A integration experience may be considered.
• Proven project leadership and the ability to manage large cross-functional teams.
• Cross-functional knowledge of interactions between functions in a large multinational corporation.
• Strong project management skills and business acumen for making key business decisions.
• Technology, go-to-market, or systems/order-to-cash experience is strongly preferred.
