Backend Engineer - Golang (SDE 1)

What you will do

• Design and implement product features for hirify.global sites and backend services.
• Collaborate with Product, Business, and Sales teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code and own parts of the system.
• Benchmark systems, perform load testing, diagnose problems, and implement solutions.
• Research and apply modern frameworks and technologies for backend systems.
• Participate in design discussions and code reviews while proposing solutions to technical challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.
• 1–3 years of software industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals.
• Experience with Go, Node, or C++.
• Understanding of microservices architecture, HTTP, web services, OAuth, and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Linux, troubleshooting, system diagnostics, communication, and collaborative teamwork.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-based systems and infrastructure services such as AWS or GCP.
