Senior Backend Engineer (Go)

What you will do

• Design and scale Go-based microservices orchestrating the lifecycle of multimodal AI generations.
• Optimize ConnectRPC services and asynchronous Kafka and SQS pipelines for long-running inference workloads.
• Build backend logic for multimodal orchestration across image, video, audio, 3D, and vector generation.
• Use AWS services and high-performance storage and compute clusters to support large data throughput.
• Collaborate with AI researchers to turn model outputs into polished creative workflows.

Requirements

• Extensive experience building and scaling Go services in high-traffic, high-volume SaaS environments.
• Strong distributed-systems experience with microservices, Kafka, SQS, and low-latency communication using gRPC, ConnectRPC, or GraphQL.
• Deep knowledge of AWS, including EKS, S3, and Lambda, plus experience managing complex compute environments.
• Background building professional-grade creative tools or media-heavy applications.
• Commitment to code reviews, testing strategies, observability, and quality-focused software practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with media processing such as video transcoding, audio synthesis, or vector manipulation.
• Experience with model serving at scale or GPU-accelerated workloads.
• Experience in fast-paced environments with ownership of product direction and rapid iteration.
