Senior Backend Developer (Go)

hirify.global's ExaScaler Engineering department develops software for distributed cloud and data infrastructure.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain software using Go.
• Manage and orchestrate containerized applications with Kubernetes.
• Deploy and operate applications on AWS using services including EC2, S3, and RDS.
• Implement search and distributed data capabilities with Elasticsearch and Cassandra.
• Build monitoring and alerting solutions with Prometheus and AWS CloudWatch.
• Mentor team members and communicate technical concepts effectively.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience with extensive Go expertise.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and AWS cloud deployments.
• Experience with Elasticsearch, Cassandra, and Prometheus in distributed systems.
• Proficiency in unit testing and mocking frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
• Understanding of SOLID principles, object-oriented design, design patterns, Linux, and Bash scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and technical mentoring.

Nice to have

• AWS Solutions Architect certification or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
• Experience with Python or Shell scripting for automation.
• Experience with Prometheus and AWS CloudWatch monitoring and alerting setups.
