What you will do

• Lead civil engineering standards, design updates, and quality control across data center development projects.
• Define civil design requirements for site planning, land constraints, campus needs, building interfaces, and construction execution.
• Manage external civil consultants, scopes of work, proposals, design coordination, and construction-ready deliverables.
• Coordinate civil systems with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines and support commissioning readiness.
• Troubleshoot grading, drainage, utility, and other site performance issues.
• Support acquisition due diligence, asset assessments, design deviations, and innovative or sustainable civil engineering solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; a PE license is strongly preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in civil design and project management, preferably in data centers or infrastructure development.
• Strong knowledge of site development, grading, drainage, utilities, permitting, and data center design and construction.
• Advanced experience with Excel and AutoCAD; familiarity with Civil 3D, Bluebeam, Revit, MS Project, Procore, or BIM 360 is valuable.
• Experience preparing or reviewing engineering scopes of work and consultant proposals.
• Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and multidisciplinary coordination skills; travel may reach 25%.
