Director, Treasury

Location: New York - Park Avenue or Stamford, United States

Base salary: $130,000–$200,000 per year, plus potential annual discretionary bonuses and long-term incentive programs for eligible employees.

What you will do

• Manage firm-level and fund-level financing facilities, including credit lines, subscription facilities, and structured arrangements.
• Support the negotiation and execution of financing transactions with lenders, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor covenant compliance, reporting requirements, compliance certificates, borrowing base reports, and other lender deliverables.
• Analyze liquidity needs and support short- and long-term cash forecasting.
• Execute and monitor foreign currency transactions, hedging strategies, interest rate exposure, and FX risk mitigation.
• Maintain banking relationships and contribute to treasury initiatives, capital structure optimization, internal controls, and process improvements.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in banking, fund finance, sponsor coverage, or capital markets.
• Strong understanding of debt financing structures, capital markets products, credit agreements, and financing documentation.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Direct experience with subscription facilities or fund-level leverage, plus familiarity with foreign exchange execution and hedging instruments.
• Experience in private equity, asset management, or alternative investment platforms, and with treasury management systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field; strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and ownership skills.
