Group Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: New York, United States; hybrid work model

Salary: $190,000–$250,000 base salary per year plus equity

What you will do

• Lead and coach a small team of Product Managers while remaining hands-on with roadmap execution.
• Own the health and growth of payroll tax registration, business formations, and entity management products.
• Improve reliability, automation, operational efficiency, platform capabilities, SLA performance, retention, and margins.
• Build agentic workflows that automate complex, multi-step compliance processes and reduce manual work.
• Work with customers and embedded partners to identify problems, validate solutions, and expand distribution.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Legal/Compliance, and Go-to-Market to ship products and support customers.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of product management experience building and scaling B2B SaaS, automation, or complex workflow products.
• Experience building B2B products delivered through APIs or embedded partner ecosystems.
• Experience owning products at different maturity stages, from established revenue-generating products to emerging product bets.
• Experience managing and developing a small product team while executing directly when needed.
• Strong systems and operational thinking, including the use of completion rates, cost per action, automation rates, human intervention, and SLA performance.
• Comfort working cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Legal/Compliance, and Go-to-Market teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in compliance, regulatory operations, payroll, fintech, or legal technology.
• Experience in a high-growth startup environment, ideally at the Series B or C stage.
