Product Manager (Risk)

Location: San Francisco, CA; in-person at the Presidio office 3–4 days per week

Salary: $140,000–$220,000 annual base salary plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Own the roadmap for a new risk platform, turning the vision into a shipped product.
• Productize manual, spreadsheet-based risk operations into scalable internal infrastructure.
• Determine where AI should support sensitive risk decisions and where human judgment must remain involved.
• Work with the Founder/CEO, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to define user needs and product requirements.
• Write specifications and PRDs, contribute to pull requests and features, and define metrics for product success.
• Grow the internal platform into an external product that customers can integrate into their own risk operations.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in product management or an adjacent role at a high-growth startup, technology company, management consulting firm, or investment firm.
• Experience turning ambiguous, undefined problems into products that have shipped.
• Ability to become technical quickly, work comfortably in the terminal, use Claude Code or similar tools, and architect solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with comfort working with data, metrics, and operational details.
• Hands-on, low-ego approach to building products and solving operational problems.
• Ability to work from the San Francisco office 3–4 days per week.
