Specialist, SAP Plant Maintenance (Automotive)

Location: Blythewood, South Carolina, United States; 4–5 days per week in the office with regular in-person meetings, events, and occasional domestic and international travel.

Annual base salary: $100,000–$125,000, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Configure SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance for site-wide maintenance needs.
• Implement corrective, preventive, emergency, overhead labor, refurbishment, project order, and service order maintenance processes.
• Manage support incidents, problems, change requests, requirements sessions, sprint planning, workshops, testing, and training for the Plant Maintenance workstream.
• Own the end-to-end enterprise SAP PM platform and define reports supporting production and maintenance operations.
• Collaborate with automation, maintenance, IT, industrial engineering, and external suppliers to troubleshoot issues and drive process improvements.
• Lead commissioning and acceptance activities, including availability tests, defect tracking, final acceptance, and lessons learned.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional maintenance experience in industry, preferably automotive production.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, or another technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in SAP PM, SAP MM, or another production and maintenance system.
• Experience with work orders and notifications, capacity planning, technical objects, maintenance plans, spare parts and inventory management, preventive and predictive maintenance, analytics, and mobility solutions.
• Project management, problem-solving, communication, attention to detail, and autonomous working skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Blythewood 4–5 days per week and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of risk management and FMEA.
• Experience identifying process optimization and efficiency gains through IT solutions and methodologies.
• Automotive OEM or Tier 1 experience.
