IT Functional Analyst, Finance Systems (SAP Accounts Receivable)

Location: Onsite at the Santa Clara, California office

Annual base salary: $153,000–$191,000 USD, with potential incentive pay and/or equity.

What you will do

• Architect, configure, and optimize end-to-end SAP Accounts Receivable (FI-AR) solutions for invoicing, dunning, and account reconciliation.
• Design Order-to-Cash integrations with Sales Operations, Treasury, Banking, electronic payment networks, lockbox systems, and automated cash application.
• Lead finance systems enhancements and modernization initiatives from discovery through UAT, coordinating cross-functional dependencies across SAP technologies, APIs, and middleware.
• Implement configuration updates aligned with SOX compliance, internal financial controls, and global audit requirements.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues and mentor junior analysts on SAP best practices and finance automation.

Requirements

• Advanced SAP Finance configuration expertise with deep experience in Accounts Receivable, Business Partner integration, Credit and Collections, and SAP Sales & Distribution integration.
• Experience delivering full-lifecycle ERP implementations and modernizations in complex environments.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Finance, Fiori, API integration, IDocs, and middleware.
• Strong analytical judgment and the ability to influence senior Finance stakeholders and establish technical evaluation criteria.
• Understanding of intelligent cash application, automated bank connectivity, and finance workflows in multinational, multi-entity environments.
• Ability to work onsite from the Santa Clara, California office, except during PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
