Prototype Vehicle Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; work at the Santa Clara facility

What you will do

• Integrate prototype hardware into existing vehicles.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and propose solutions for system dependencies.
• Manage the fleet of test vehicles.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve engineering workflows.

Requirements

• Automotive industry background.
• Strong record of innovation demonstrated through patents, papers, or products.
• Ability to articulate and advocate a technology direction with customers and internal development teams.
• Experience with software project management and agile methodology.
• Experience with automotive bus systems, including CAN, and automotive E/E hardware.
• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive, Embedded Software, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or Computer Science, plus 5+ years of work experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Unity 3D Engine.
