Software Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco; in-person at the SF office

What you will do

• Architect and implement the data infrastructure for hirify.global’s personalization and continual learning API.
• Design secure storage for raw user context and per-user model weights.
• Build performant ingestion and preprocessing systems for regular continual training.
• Develop data observability capabilities for quality control and reproducibility.
• Integrate reliably with customer APIs and other data sources.
• Collaborate with machine learning researchers, performance engineers, and AI-native customers while helping shape the engineering team and culture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building and scaling systems in high-stakes environments.
• Experience building APIs or infrastructure consumed by other developers, including SDKs, multi-tenant platforms, or developer tooling.
• Experience taking a successful product or open-source project from zero to one.
• Product-driven approach and willingness to work across the stack.
• Experience in a rigorous engineering culture where security and reliability are top priorities.
• Ability to work in person from the San Francisco office.

Nice to have

• Experience working with machine learning teams and familiarity with modern ML serving and training stacks.
• Prior early-stage startup experience.
