Production Superintendent (Manufacturing)

Location: Hermiston, Oregon, USA; onsite at the plant

Annual compensation: $95,020–$142,520

What you will do

• Manage production activities across multiple shifts and departments, with ownership of assigned production lines.
• Lead safety practices, including safety huddles, audits, risk identification, and corrective actions.
• Improve production reliability, efficiency, capacity, manpower utilization, scheduling, and loss elimination.
• Lead LOC program pillar teams and coach supervisors and hourly employees on LOC principles and behaviors.
• Coordinate with Food Safety Quality, Warehouse, and Demand Planning teams on sanitation, start-ups, production orders, and quality initiatives.
• Manage production resources and cost-effectiveness initiatives within budget and plant performance targets.

Requirements

• Five to ten years of manufacturing experience and at least five years of supervisory experience.
• Three to five years of sanitation supervisory and/or production experience.
• Knowledge of microbiology, food science, chemistry, chemicals, and sanitation procedures.
• Understanding of Site Loss Analysis, Master Production Scheduling, LOC methodology, and APQC performance.
• Strong verbal, written, technical, analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree, CPR certification, and First Aid certification are preferred.
