Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote - UK/Europe, with a European timezone requirement; quarterly in-person team alignment sessions and client workshops in London.

Salary: £85,000–£105,000 base salary, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own product features end-to-end, from scoping through production delivery, including mobile app functionality.
• Use AI development tooling as the primary workflow by directing, reviewing, and correcting agent-produced code.
• Work directly with customers through workshops, feedback sessions, and discovery conversations.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Product Designers to shape solutions from ambiguous requirements.
• Rotate across product domains and build understanding of workforce management challenges.
• Challenge scope, propose approaches, and make pragmatic trade-offs during product development.

Requirements

• Senior engineering experience with ownership of features from scoping to production.
• Professional Elixir experience sufficient to evaluate and correct AI-generated code in a production codebase.
• Regular use of AI development tooling, with the ability to explain workflows and demonstrate proficiency under pressure.
• Ability to understand customer problems and communicate directly with customers.
• Clear, concise communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Pragmatic decision-making and conscious prioritisation of technical trade-offs.

Nice to have

• Full-stack experience, including React Native.
• Experience in a product-led engineering team or high-growth B2B SaaS company.
• Familiarity with HR or workforce management domains.
