What you will do
- Plan and execute RF and DC test campaigns for VIO™ devices and test vehicles.
- Build, install, operate, and maintain room-temperature and cryogenic measurement setups.
- Design and scale automated switching matrices and high-throughput signal-line infrastructure.
- Diagnose test failures, investigate root causes, and feed findings into device and process improvements.
- Own validation from setup and sample integration through execution, analysis, reporting, and recommendations.
- Document measurement setups and process parameters while improving test repeatability and scalability.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering, applied physics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in testing, validation, or characterisation of deep-tech or low-volume hardware.
- Hands-on experience with RF and/or DC measurement methods and instrumentation such as VNAs and SMUs.
- Experience with high-density interconnects, switching matrices, and RF link-budget metrics including insertion loss, return loss, and crosstalk.
- Proficiency in Python, experimental data analysis and visualisation, and control of measurement electronics.
Nice to have
- Experience with cryogenic systems, including dilution refrigerators.
- Exposure to transport and microwave characterisation of superconducting circuits, including Tc/Ic, residual resistance, and resonator quality factors through VNA S-parameter measurements.
