Electronics Technician (Robotics)

Location: On-site in Amsterdam five days a week; applicants must be based in the Netherlands, eligible to work there, and able to commute to Amsterdam.

hirify.global develops robotics and software to automate on-site construction, building hardware and software in-house.

What you will do

• Own production assembly batches for a fleet of autonomous construction robots, maintaining consistent quality and speed.
• Build electronics assemblies at scale and occasionally prototype hardware for ground vehicles, cranes, supply systems, and end effectors.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to refine designs using real-world testing and feedback.
• Develop and improve electronic assembly and testing procedures for prototypes and production models.
• Troubleshoot electronic components and systems, perform root cause analysis, and maintain the existing robot fleet.
• Manage electronic component and tool inventory and provide technical support during field tests.

Requirements

• At least two years of comparable work experience.
• Relevant BSc, HBO, MBO, diploma, or equivalent qualification.
• Solid electronics fundamentals and hands-on experience with hardware assembly, debugging, soldering, cabling, wiring, and crimping.
• Comfort reading system-level wiring and adapting when detailed PCB schematics are unavailable.
• Ability to use hand tools for mechanical assembly alongside electronics work.
• Strong troubleshooting, organization, communication, collaboration, and context-switching skills.

• Engineering or technical degree.
