TL;DR
Electronics Technician (Robotics): Building and maintaining electronics assemblies for autonomous construction robots, including ground vehicles, cranes, supply systems, and end effectors, with an accent on production assembly, wiring, troubleshooting, and fleet maintenance. Focus on improving assembly and testing procedures, diagnosing failure modes, supporting field tests, and scaling reliable robot production.
Location: On-site in Amsterdam five days a week; applicants must be based in the Netherlands, eligible to work there, and able to commute to Amsterdam.

What you will do
- Own production assembly batches for a fleet of autonomous construction robots, maintaining consistent quality and speed.
- Build electronics assemblies at scale and occasionally prototype hardware for ground vehicles, cranes, supply systems, and end effectors.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to refine designs using real-world testing and feedback.
- Develop and improve electronic assembly and testing procedures for prototypes and production models.
- Troubleshoot electronic components and systems, perform root cause analysis, and maintain the existing robot fleet.
- Manage electronic component and tool inventory and provide technical support during field tests.
Requirements
- At least two years of comparable work experience.
- Relevant BSc, HBO, MBO, diploma, or equivalent qualification.
- Solid electronics fundamentals and hands-on experience with hardware assembly, debugging, soldering, cabling, wiring, and crimping.
- Comfort reading system-level wiring and adapting when detailed PCB schematics are unavailable.
- Ability to use hand tools for mechanical assembly alongside electronics work.
- Strong troubleshooting, organization, communication, collaboration, and context-switching skills.
