Lead Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

What you will do

• Lead the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks for data-driven pipelines, Java applications, and cloud-native services.
• Manage testing infrastructure for functional, automation, performance, and end-to-end testing.
• Provide technical leadership for major initiatives and deliver solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Identify high-return test cases, reduce manual testing, and accelerate testing cycles.
• Coordinate testing across multiple programs and projects while collaborating with software engineers, architects, testing engineers, and product managers.
• Ensure functionality delivered in each release is fully tested end to end.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience in technical and quality engineering.
• Expertise in testing methods, standards, test case creation, and automation frameworks.
• Experience testing mobile applications and SDKs, Java and cloud-native services.
• Knowledge of Python, Hadoop, Spark, Java, SQL, REST/SOAP APIs, code reviews, scanning tools, configuration, and branching techniques.
• Experience with Dynatrace, Splunk, chaos testing, software security testing, crypto testing, and performance testing.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, mentoring, and technical leadership skills, plus experience with DevOps, continuous integration and delivery, and Jenkins.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Apache Kafka and Apache Spark.
• Experience with Apache NiFi or Apache Airflow orchestration.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with build tools such as Jenkins.
