Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; on-site

Salary: $110,000–$180,000 per year

hirify.global is a venture-backed defense aviation company developing high-speed aircraft through rapid hardware iteration for the Department of War and its allies.

What you will do

  • Lead manufacturing improvement projects focused on safety, reliability, process capability, production rates, and waste reduction.
  • Support the design, manufacturing, integration, and production introduction of current and next-generation aircraft hardware.
  • Drive root-cause analysis, failure investigations, non-conformance resolution, and corrective actions.
  • Evaluate designs for manufacturability and testability, and develop tooling, testing, assembly, and production solutions.
  • Train technicians, engineers, and leaders on operations practices through workshops, briefings, and hands-on implementation.
  • Prepare assembly and test procedures, standard operating procedures, schematics, bills of materials, alternate parts lists, and mechanical drawings for production transition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or a technical discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience designing or producing electronics hardware systems, including electro-mechanical assemblies and end-to-end printed circuit board fabrication.
  • Experience with high-power electronics or motor drivers and manufacturing support for complex electronic products.
  • Experience transitioning products from design to manufacturing and applying design-for-manufacturing and design-for-test feedback.
  • Experience with CAD, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, automated systems, ERP systems, work orders, and BOM structures.
  • Must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing under U.S. export control requirements; the role is on-site in Atlanta.

  • Experience in a startup development environment.
  • Experience in flight, aviation, or aerospace development programs.
  • Experience transitioning parts from first article to production.
