Salary: $100,000–$198,000 annual base salary, excluding additional benefits.

What you will do

  • Own first-line responses to build, test, and integration issues across avionics hardware.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions across design, processes, and supply chain.
  • Partner with internal manufacturing teams and contract manufacturers to resolve build issues and improve throughput.
  • Ensure released avionics designs are manufacturable, testable, and scalable for production.
  • Drive engineering change orders and systemic improvements based on production and test feedback.
  • Support system-level integration across power, communications, and timing subsystems while improving workflows and first-pass yield.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, aerospace, or a related engineering field.
  • 3+ years of experience in hardware development, manufacturing, testing, or integration engineering.
  • Experience with avionics or electronic hardware, including PCBs, harnesses, or power systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Experience supporting production or integration of complex hardware systems.
  • Ability to collaborate across design, manufacturing, test, and supply chain in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting hardware from design through production and integration.
  • System-level debugging experience involving power, communications, or timing issues.
  • Familiarity with ECO processes, configuration management, quality systems, or contract manufacturing.
  • Experience with scripting or data analysis using Python, SQL, or similar tools.
  • Background in high-reliability or high-rate hardware environments such as aerospace or automotive.
