Senior Systems Administrator (Azure)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; 4–5 days per week in the office with regular in-person meetings, events, and occasional travel.

Salary: $120,000–$145,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

hirify.global is developing electrified rugged SUVs and pickup trucks while building the IT infrastructure needed to support vehicle production and company operations.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure across compute, storage, identity, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
• Administer Azure, Power Platform, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, and other Microsoft cloud services.
• Monitor production systems and support their availability, performance, security, and operational readiness.
• Lead Tier-3 incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and sustainable corrective actions.
• Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code to reduce manual errors, accelerate deployments, and strengthen security.
• Partner with Security and other teams, document operating procedures, support network operations, and mentor systems administrators.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with storage solutions, virtualization, system design, deployment, and administration.
• Ownership of complex infrastructure environments across compute, storage, networking, and virtualization.
• Strong cloud platform experience, particularly Azure, plus Windows and/or Linux server administration.
• Knowledge of identity and access management and enterprise authentication systems.
• Strong communication, documentation, independent working, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field is a plus.
