Systems Administrator (Microsoft 365)

Location: Fully remote; applicants must currently reside in the United States. Candidates in the Washington, DC / Maryland / Virginia area are preferred for occasional onsite collaboration.

Salary: USD $95,553–$143,329 per year.

What you will do

• Engineer, deploy, and manage Windows and macOS enterprise endpoint environments.
• Develop PowerShell and Python automation for provisioning, administration, reporting, and integrations.
• Manage Microsoft Intune policies, device compliance, application deployment, and endpoint security.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and related cloud services.
• Maintain RMM platforms, documentation, operational runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
• Partner with Security, Infrastructure, and Help Desk teams to troubleshoot complex issues and improve reliability, compliance, and user experience.

Requirements

• Current residence in the United States is required.
• 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Systems Administrator, or in a similar infrastructure role.
• Strong experience managing Windows and macOS enterprise environments.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting skills and working knowledge of Python for automation and systems integration.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, endpoint lifecycle management, and RMM solutions.
• Experience with networking, technical documentation, troubleshooting, and independent work in a remote-first environment.

Nice to have

• Linux administration experience.
• Experience supporting U.S. Government or Government Contracting environments.
• Familiarity with NIST 800-171, CMMC, or FedRAMP.
• Experience with ServiceNow, infrastructure automation tools, APIs, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
