Manager, IT Engineering & Infrastructure (AI&T)

Location: Redondo Beach, United States; onsite. Applicants must be U.S. Persons or eligible to obtain an export license under ITAR/EAR requirements.

Salary: $155,000–$180,000 per year, plus potential stock options and benefits.

What you will do

• Define and execute infrastructure strategy for integration, test, and engineering environments.
• Oversee the architecture and lifecycle of networks, compute, storage, cloud, lab infrastructure, structured cabling, and real-time data systems.
• Lead and develop systems and network engineering teams while setting technical standards and best practices.
• Coordinate test-stand deployments, facility upgrades, and infrastructure readiness for test campaigns.
• Drive infrastructure automation, infrastructure-as-code, and platform engineering initiatives.
• Establish monitoring, observability, incident response, root-cause analysis, security, and compliance practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or related domains.
• At least 2 years of leadership or team management experience.
• Strong background in networking, systems engineering, and platform engineering.
• Experience designing and operating infrastructure in lab, test, or engineering environments.
• Proven ability to deliver scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
• Must meet U.S. export-control eligibility requirements as a U.S. Person or an individual eligible to obtain an export license.

Nice to have

• 4+ years leading technical teams in complex infrastructure environments.
• Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or test environments.
• Experience with deterministic or time-sensitive systems.
• Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
