Test Manufacturing Engineer (Front End Processing)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, operating sequences, and processes for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Coordinate the release of product improvements and new products with other engineering functions.
• Apply engineering and Design for Excellence principles to reduce manufacturing and product costs and improve quality.
• Determine time standards and recommend tooling and process requirements.
• Develop test procedures, evaluate test results, and assess work methods, procedures, and policies.
• Identify root causes and corrective actions for assembly and system testing issues, perform Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis, and prepare reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Conceptual knowledge and technical experience for daily problem-solving.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Ability to work in clean-room conditions and use required personal protective equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including extended standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, and working in tight spaces.
