Electrical Engineer (PCB Design)

What you will do

• Capture complex multi-sheet schematics in Altium Designer for power stages, MCU/SoC circuits, sensor interfaces, motor drives, and communication buses.
• Design 4–16-layer PCBs with signal and power integrity, EMC-compliant routing, thermal management, impedance control, and mixed-signal partitioning.
• Verify designs through DRC/ERC, SI/PI simulations, formal design reviews, and hands-on laboratory bring-up and debugging.
• Prepare manufacturing documentation and coordinate with PCB fabricators and PCBA manufacturers to qualify designs for series production.
• Drive prototype-to-series transitions through DVT/PVT, support ICT and functional test development, and contribute to failure analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage component qualification, lifecycle risks, approved vendor lists, and revision-controlled design data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.
• At least 3 years of professional PCB/PCBA design experience, including ownership of complete design cycles through production release.
• Expert command of Altium Designer or comparable CAD tools, including schematic capture, layout, DRC/ERC, and output generation.
• Strong experience with mixed-signal boards, power electronics, high-speed digital interfaces, and analog or sensor front-ends.
• Practical knowledge of EMC, DFM/DFA, IPC Class 2/3 requirements, PCB fabrication, assembly, and PCBA testing.
• Fluent English is required; good German is a strong advantage for daily collaboration.
