Mechanical Engineer (Robotics)

Location: On-site in Stuttgart, Germany; willingness to travel is required, with approximately 25% travel desirable.

What you will do

• Design mechanical systems and components for AI-driven robots.
• Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings for fabrication.
• Collaborate with electrical and software engineering teams on system integration.
• Conduct mechanical simulations, testing, and performance validation.
• Optimize designs for cost, efficiency, and manufacturability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computational Mechanics, Engineering Science, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in mechanical design, ideally in robotics or automation.
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or similar.
• Understanding of mechanical testing and prototyping processes.
• Strong knowledge of material properties, manufacturing methods, and system integration.
• Availability for on-site work in Stuttgart and willingness to travel.

Nice to have

• Experience in industrial design or special-purpose machinery.
