Hardware Systems Engineer (FPGA)

Location: Boston, United States; on-site

Salary: $90,000–$250,000 per year plus equity; compensation varies with experience.

What you will do

• Design real-time digital signal processing systems using FPGAs.
• Develop and optimize signal processing algorithms.
• Implement complex algorithms at the system level.
• Develop software and HDL for highly parallelized hardware, including GPUs and FPGAs.
• Verify and validate systems for efficiency and reliability.
• Design, test, and integrate hardware using standard protocols.

Requirements

• Experience designing and testing with FPGAs.
• Experience with VHDL and/or Verilog.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Experience with PCB design and layout.
• Familiarity with SPI, I2C, USB, PCIe, MIPI, and UART protocols.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C, or similar languages, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
