Principal Engineer, Product Development Engineering (Memory)

Location: Folsom, California, United States; onsite at the Folsom Office.

Salary: $134,954–$223,560 per year.

What you will do

• Define and execute the long-term vision for front-end wafer test coverage, emphasizing high I/O parallelism and low-latency solutions.
• Develop initiatives to improve yield, quality, reliability, and cost efficiency across memory products.
• Lead design-for-test and design-for-debug methodologies and collaborate with memory technology experts.
• Oversee wafer test development from new product introduction through mass production across multiple geographies.
• Investigate qualification and yield issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Transform test data into actionable insights and guide technical reviews as a subject-matter expert.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in memory, storage, or system-level product, test, or validation engineering.
• Understanding of design principles, simulation, emulation, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with functional and stress testing and failure analysis using oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, and signal injection tools.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Python for test automation and data analysis.
• Knowledge of NAND, DRAM, LPDDR, GDDR, HBM, PCIe, Advantest, and Teradyne platforms is preferred.
