What you will do

• Lead technical engagement for strategic financial services accounts, partnering with account executives on planning, discovery, and solution development.
• Help customers identify high-value quantum computing applications in portfolio optimization, asset allocation, derivatives pricing, quantitative finance, treasury, liquidity, capital optimization, and fraud detection.
• Define project scopes with customers and internal research teams based on technical roadmaps, research strengths, and near-term quantum capabilities.
• Maintain an industry-relevant use-case catalogue and develop customer-facing technical and proposal materials.
• Provide customer and market feedback to research leaders and track developments in quantum technology and financial services.
• At Director level, lead and develop the Solutions Architecture team, manage resources and performance, and establish technical best practices across the function.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in mathematics, quantitative finance, computer science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in quantitative, computational, or advanced analytics programs within financial services.
• Strong expertise in optimization, mathematical modelling and solvers, quantitative methods, and computational problem-solving.
• Experience managing customer relationships and delivering technically complex projects.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, organizational, and business-to-technical translation skills.
• At Director level, experience leading technical teams or managing direct reports in a customer-facing or applied research environment.

Nice to have

• PhD in mathematics, physics, quantitative finance, computer science, or a related STEM field.
• Experience with or exposure to quantum technologies.
• Experience partnering with sales leaders while maintaining independent technical judgment.
