Supply Chain Manager (Robotics)

Location: San Francisco, United States; on-site. Eligible to work in the United States.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution for autonomous vehicles, technology, and charging hardware.
• Lead sourcing, procurement, purchasing, materials planning, inventory, and logistics for mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
• Identify, qualify, and manage suppliers and contract manufacturers while negotiating pricing, terms, and long-term supply agreements.
• Partner with engineering on design-for-supply-chain, long-lead items, part selection, and second-sourcing.
• Track delivery, cost, inventory, and supplier-quality metrics; mitigate shortages and supply risks.
• Build scalable procurement processes and ensure trade, customs, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or materials management for hardware or manufactured products.
• Experience sourcing and managing suppliers for mechanical, electrical, or electronic components.
• Strong understanding of BOMs, materials planning, lead times, and cost-quality trade-offs.
• Experience negotiating supplier pricing, terms, and supply agreements.
• Strong analytical, communication, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive, EV, robotics, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing.
• Experience scaling supply chains from prototype through production ramp.
• Knowledge of vehicle components, powertrain, battery, or charging hardware supply chains.
• Experience with contract manufacturers, international sourcing, DFM, and trade compliance.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup or early-stage hardware environment.
