Industrial Engineering Intern (Jan - Jun 2027)

What you will do

• Automate and streamline factory data extraction, preparation, analysis, and reporting.
• Establish mathematical models to capture, predict, and manage the performance of different tool types.
• Analyze manufacturing and operational data to identify productivity improvement opportunities.
• Recommend data-driven solutions for wafer-fabrication productivity and process optimization.
• Prepare and conduct audits to support compliance with industry standards.
• Follow safety practices and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security programs.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or a related field through an accredited program.
• Remain in good academic standing.
• Be available to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
• Be available for a 16–24 week credit-bearing internship commencing January 2027.
• Demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, planning, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Have proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, and SQL.

Nice to have

• Prior related internship or co-op experience.
• Leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, or competitions.
• Project management skills and the ability to innovate and execute solutions in ambiguous situations.
