Process Engineer (Intern) (Manufacturing)

Location: Bayan Lepas, Malaysia; on-site manufacturing location

What you will do

• Assist with cleaning process improvement for WDMCL, SMD, PSC, Cassette Washer, and Auto Titrator operations across existing and new products.
• Monitor, collect, and analyze data for media-cleaning cost reduction and yield improvement projects.
• Support FMEA activities by collecting data and updating process records.
• Help troubleshoot process issues and perform root cause analysis under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Coordinate with FA, Contamination, NPI, and Development teams on assigned activities.
• Maintain process reports and records, conduct basic technical sharing sessions, and support ISO compliance activities.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Material Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Basic professional communication skills in verbal and written communication.
• Ability to interpret data and identify patterns with guidance.
• Willingness to learn technical tools and processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, adapt to new processes, and take responsibility for assigned work.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of wet cleaning processes or chemical handling.
• Experience with semiconductor or media manufacturing.
• Laboratory or clean-room experience.
