Senior Technical Project Manager (MedTech)

Location: London, UK (Kings Cross); at least 4 days per week in the office and 1 flexible work-from-home day

Salary: £84,000–£126,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own end-to-end planning and delivery of a multidisciplinary subsystem across optics, electronics, mechanical engineering, FPGA, and software workstreams.
• Build and maintain integrated project plans covering scope, schedules, milestones, critical paths, and dependencies.
• Coordinate engineers, functional leads, and external development partners, resolving technical and resourcing conflicts.
• Run project governance, steering reviews, status reporting, and RAID management for senior stakeholders.
• Drive the subsystem through design control, verification and validation, stage gates, and product transfer.
• Manage suppliers, statements of work, budgets, forecasts, documentation, and delivery quality for a regulated medical device.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing complex multidisciplinary engineering projects through the full product development lifecycle.
• Experience coordinating teams spanning optics, electronics, mechanical engineering, FPGA, software, and external development partners.
• Strong command of project planning, scheduling, critical-path management, reporting, RAID, resourcing, and budget control.
• Experience delivering products integrating hardware, embedded or FPGA systems, and software.
• Technical fluency, strong stakeholder-management and communication skills, and the ability to drive delivery in a fast-paced startup or scale-up.
• Experience with regulated environments and standards such as ISO 13485, IEC 60601, IEC 62304, ISO 14971, or design controls is highly desirable.

Nice to have

• Recognised project management qualification such as APM, PMP, or PRINCE2.
• Experience with medical-device development and regulated quality and traceability requirements.
