Global Supply Chain Manager (Robotics)

Location: San Francisco, CA, United States

Salary: $115,000–$145,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Define and own category strategies for critical components and assemblies while scaling production.
• Drive cost targets through should-cost modeling, market and commodity analysis, and strategic negotiations.
• Negotiate piece price, tooling/NRE, and other commercial and contractual terms.
• Assess and manage supply chain risks related to capacity, geopolitics, logistics, and supplier capabilities.
• Partner with Hardware Engineering to guide cost-effective designs and lead supplier readiness across prototype, pilot, and mass production builds.
• Develop planning, logistics, and warehousing strategies, and lead corrective actions for supply, cost, and quality issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of sourcing or procurement experience in high-volume manufacturing.
• Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Category knowledge across mechanical, electrical, PCB/PCBA, and/or electromechanical components and assemblies.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, data analysis, and visualization skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional workstreams with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and NPI teams.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, potentially on short notice.

Nice to have

• Experience with electronics components, injection molding, stamping, sheet metal, casting, CNC machining, PCB fabrication, or assembly.
• Experience sourcing, evaluating, and onboarding suppliers in new regions.
