What you will do

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for mechanical, electronic, and PCB assemblies across new product introduction and mass-production ramps.
  • Lead supplier selection, RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, contract negotiations, and agreement documentation.
  • Build cost models to support data-driven negotiations and long-term sourcing strategies.
  • Partner with design, manufacturing, and supply quality engineers from product concept through high-volume production.
  • Establish supplier reviews and governance processes to improve cost, delivery, quality, and capacity readiness.
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and engineering to deliver sustainable cost savings and develop long-term supplier partnerships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or supply chain management.
  • 3–10 years of supply chain experience in sourcing, program management, or quality engineering within a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience developing and managing commodities, including cost modeling and contract negotiations.
  • Experience supporting new product introductions and production launches.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics to support business decisions.
  • Technical knowledge of commodity requirements and design, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners on pricing and sourcing decisions.
