HR Operations Lead

What you will do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions and HR matters.
• Own the Rippling HRIS, employee records, data hygiene, and personnel files.
• Manage benefits administration, broker relationships, employee education, and open enrollment.
• Maintain compliance across multi-state employment law, required postings, recordkeeping, and audits.
• Advise managers on performance issues, disciplinary matters, grievances, and other employee relations cases.
• Manage onboarding handoffs, offboarding, HR vendors, immigration-support coordination, and the future HR Coordinator.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in HR generalist or HR operations roles.
• Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms; Rippling experience is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of employment law and multi-state HR compliance requirements.
• Experience administering benefits and partnering with external brokers.
• Strong communication, organization, self-direction, and judgment.
• Participation in E-Verify is required after receiving an offer to verify employment authorization documents through Form I-9.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field.
• SHRM or HCI certification.
• Experience in a high-growth startup.
• Interest or experience in robotics or hardware companies.
