Senior HR Generalist (Robotics)

Location: Fully on-site in Venice, California

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 base salary annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Own the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, HR administration, payroll support, benefits administration, and leave management.
• Serve as a day-to-day HR partner for employees and managers on policies, benefits, people practices, and employee relations.
• Build, document, and implement scalable HR policies, procedures, playbooks, and internal workflows.
• Support performance feedback, corrective actions, audits, investigations, and employee documentation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across a multi-state workforce.
• Support recruiting operations in Ashby and continuously improve the candidate and new-hire onboarding experience.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of progressive HR experience across startup and corporate environments.
• Strong HR generalist experience covering operations, employee relations, and compliance.
• Experience building HR foundations, including policies, procedures, and scalable processes.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state employment laws and HR best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, on-site environment with a high degree of autonomy.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, professional, approachable, and confident in communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rippling HRIS.
• Experience using Ashby or a comparable ATS.
