Senior Kotlin / Java Software Engineer - Broker (m/f/x) (Fintech)

What you will do

• Build and operate the Scalable Broker platform as part of a cross-functional team.
• Develop backend services using Kotlin, Java, GraphQL, and Spring Boot.
• Apply modern development practices, including continuous integration and deployment and test automation.
• Work with cloud-based infrastructure and tooling using AWS, Docker, and Terraform.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and other stakeholders to expand the broker business.

Requirements

• University degree in computer science, engineering, sciences, or a comparable qualification.
• Solid experience with Kotlin, Java, GraphQL, Docker, Spring Boot, AWS, and Terraform.
• Strong analytical thinking across technical and product domains.
• Excellent communication skills with engineering, product, and other stakeholders.
• Passion for well-architected, testable, and documented code.

Nice to have

• Experience with GDPR compliance and security topics.
• Experience with domain-driven design, distributed architectures, or microservices.
• Background in financial services.
