Senior Software Engineer (Kotlin, Java) (m/f/d)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Kotlin.
• Build and evolve scalable, event-driven systems that process, validate, and expose financial data.
• Translate finance and accounting requirements into robust technical solutions with the Product Owner and Finance stakeholders.
• Ensure data accuracy, traceability, and auditability across financial flows.
• Improve reliability, observability, and performance for business-critical processes.
• Contribute to clean code, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of backend software development experience with Java or Kotlin.
• Hands-on experience with the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot or Spring Data.
• Experience with event-driven design, asynchronous processing, messaging, or domain events.
• Practical experience with AWS or a similar cloud platform.
• Solid understanding of NoSQL and/or relational databases, including technologies such as DynamoDB.
• Clear English communication and the ability to work with complex, data-heavy domains where investigation and precision are important.
