Senior Engineer (Kotlin)

Build a cross-border fintech product that helps families and diaspora communities access remittances, cards, savings, and payment services across emerging markets.

What you will do

• Own the development of consumer-facing mobile application features from conception through launch.
• Build features in Kotlin and Spring using high-quality, well-tested, reusable code.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Operations, Customer Support, Growth, and other functions to ship working features.
• Participate in release planning and deployment of application builds.
• Estimate project timelines and mentor and advise team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building consumer-facing applications.
• Experience owning user-facing features end-to-end, from conception to launch.
• Proficiency with Kotlin, Java, or a similar backend language.
• Experience developing systems with real-world performance and reliability constraints.
• Experience working collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities and stakeholder expectations.

Nice to have

• Experience working on a high-traffic, multi-platform mobile application.
• Strong development standards covering code review, unit testing, and documentation.
