Associate Desktop Engineer

What you will do

• Implement endpoint configurations, application deployments, compliance policies, and approved technology changes using established standards.
• Administer Microsoft Intune, including device enrollment, group assignments, application deployments, configuration profiles, and routine maintenance.
• Monitor device compliance, deployment status, enrollment health, and application installation results, troubleshooting common failures and escalating complex issues.
• Support Windows Autopilot, device provisioning, endpoint lifecycle initiatives, application rollouts, and endpoint modernization projects.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for Windows and macOS devices, Microsoft 365 applications, identity-related issues, and approved business applications.
• Maintain configuration and lifecycle records, create technical documentation, validate changes, and recommend improvements to deployment and support processes.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience in desktop support, endpoint administration, service desk work, technical internships, coursework, or hands-on lab environments.
• Working knowledge of Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Intune, and Entra ID.
• Foundational knowledge of Intune enrollment, compliance policies, configuration profiles, application deployment, device actions, provisioning, identity and access, networking, and endpoint troubleshooting.
• Ability to follow technical standards, implementation plans, change procedures, testing requirements, and escalation paths.
• Associate's degree required; a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent training, certifications, internships, or hands-on experience may be considered.
• U.S. Citizenship may be required for a government contract or security clearance requirement. Must be able to adjust working hours and be onsite for extended periods during emergencies.

Nice to have

• CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900), Microsoft Endpoint Administrator (MD-102), or an equivalent endpoint management certification.
• Hands-on experience supporting Windows endpoints, Microsoft 365, and device management platforms such as Microsoft Intune.
