Product Specialist (AI Finance)

Location: New York City, United States; part-time hybrid or full-time in office.

hirify.global is building an AI-native financial tool integrated with Excel, focused on agentic development and applied finance.

What you will do

• Test and evaluate financial model outputs for correctness, edge cases, and domain consistency.
• Investigate model errors, identify root causes, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Translate real-world finance expertise into heuristics, rules, and guardrails for model behavior.
• Recommend roadmap priorities based on user needs, including sector specialization, comparables, and forecasting logic.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, and product teams on metrics, trade-offs, and user experience.

Requirements

• Experience in investment banking, private equity, sell-side research, public markets investing, FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance.
• Strong understanding of what constitutes high-quality financial analysis and the ability to identify inaccurate or inconsistent outputs.
• Ability to connect finance domain knowledge with technical product design.
• Interest in working in an early-stage, high-ambiguity environment and shaping the use of AI in finance.
