Product Manager - Finance (AI)

Location: New York, New York, United States; hybrid setup with a minimum of three days in the office per week.

Cash compensation: $140,000–$210,000 per year, with potential equity.

What you will do

• Translate investment banking, private equity, buy-side, and sell-side research workflows into product requirements and measurable success metrics.
• Author playbooks that codify best practices for AI-assisted financial analysis.
• Design proprietary benchmarks, test suites, and datasets for model evaluation.
• Partner with ML Research to refine models, shape prompt strategies, and validate outputs against expert standards.
• Co-pilot client pilots with leading financial institutions, gather feedback, and inform roadmap priorities.
• Grade model answers and audit agent execution traces to ensure expert-level financial performance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience at a top-tier investment bank, hedge fund, asset manager, or buy-side/sell-side research team, including equity research.
• Deep expertise in financial modeling, valuation, capital markets research, or deal execution.
• Ability to translate ambiguous problems into clear requirements and measurable outcomes.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
• Concrete, hands-on use of AI in professional work.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup from New York, United States, with at least three office days per week.

Nice to have

• Hands-on Python or SQL scripting for data analysis.
• Exposure to both sell-side and buy-side research models.
• Experience at a fast-growing fintech or AI startup.
