Production Service Technician (Robotics)

Location: Onsite in Botany, Australia

What you will do

• Process RMAs, inspect and recalibrate products returned from the field, prepare quality reports, and support repair quoting and root cause analysis.
• Perform internal and external calibration of production tools and test equipment using MaintainX.
• Investigate quarantined products, coordinate rework, and complete repeat calibration and validation before products return to saleable status.
• Support FAI activities for mechanical and electronic components, including PCBA inspection, firmware flashing, metrology, fault finding, and basic debugging.
• Assist with vendor NCRs, INCRs, PCRs, work instruction updates, continuous improvement, and quality-system development.
• Support NPI activities through validation builds and the preparation of assembly, process, and test instructions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electronics Engineering.
• Preferably one year of experience in a similar role and industry.
• Exposure to assembling and fabricating advanced mechanical and electronic technology products.
• Awareness of relevant suppliers and processes, including machining, 3D printing, dispensing, PCBA, optics, and MEMS.
• Experience with structured problem solving, fault finding, basic debugging, and accurate technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, follow-through, stakeholder collaboration, and WHS practices.
