Senior Hardware Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Ramat Gan, Israel; hybrid workplace

Company

Develops autonomous driving systems, from accident prevention technologies to semi- and fully autonomous vehicles.

What you will do

• Specify hardware for next-generation autonomous driving systems.
• Lead the full hardware design process, including product specifications, electrical schematics, component selection, PCB layout, laboratory testing, verification, production support, and qualification.
• Define signal integrity simulations for LPDDR4, MIPI, and FPD-Link, and perform power integrity and analog simulations.
• Manage the technical interface with customers and derive product hardware requirements.
• Collaborate with system architecture, mechanical and thermal engineering, software, safety, and reliability disciplines.

Requirements

• BSc in Electrical or Electronic Engineering from a recognized institute.
• At least 7 years of hands-on experience designing and manufacturing electronic products.
• Experience with the full design cycle of multidisciplinary products through mass production.
• Experience with complex embedded designs and interfaces including Ethernet, DDR, PCIe Gen 4, CAN bus, and MIPI.
• Strong system-level understanding, customer-facing experience, project management skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Fluent English, spoken and written, is required.

• Automotive hardware design experience.
• Experience with certification and standards design.
• Experience with EMC and power design.
